Program Overview

Do I need previous implant experience before enrolling?
No previous implant placement experience is required. The Seattle MaxiCourse supports dentists new to implants as well as clinicians already placing implants who want to expand their skills.
What makes the Seattle MaxiCourse different from shorter implant courses?
The Seattle MaxiCourse is a comprehensive year-long program with nine modules and 300+ hours of education, offering deeper clinical understanding, mentorship, participatory training, and a pathway toward AAID credentialing.
Who is teaching the course modules?
The program is led by Dr. Senan Najar and Dr. Chad Slocum with guest faculty including internationally recognized educators and field experts.
Is this course affiliated with the AAID?
Yes. The Seattle MaxiCourse is approved by the American Academy of Implant Dentistry and provides the required 300 educational hours for participants pursuing AAID Associate Fellow credentialing.


Curriculum & Training

How is the Seattle MaxiCourse structured throughout the year?
The program consists of nine modules delivered between September and May. Eight are held in person over three-day weekends, with one online module in December.
How many modules are included in the program?
Nine modules progressively build diagnostic, surgical, restorative, and treatment-planning skills.
How much hands-on training is included?
Participants complete digital planning, restorative workflows, photography, suturing, grafting, navigation, PRF, and other laboratory or simulation exercises.
Will students place implants on live patients during module weekends?
Students train through laboratory surgical exercises, cadaver sessions, and live surgical demonstrations performed by faculty.
Where will the modules be held?

Where will the modules be held?
Most in-person modules are held at the 3DBioCAD training facility at 5866 S 194th St, Kent, WA.
Where will the cadaver modules be held?
Cadaver sessions will be hosted at a dedicated surgical training facility (location announced prior to the module).
What implant system will be used?
The course incorporates S.I.N.360 implant systems and components, with additional technologies introduced as appropriate to the curriculum.

Tuition & Enrollment

What is the cohort size?
Enrollment is typically 12–20 participants to support faculty interaction and individualized guidance.
What is the cost of the program?
Standard tuition is $20,900 plus applicable taxes. Reduced rates may be available for qualifying recent graduates or military participants.
Is there a discount for registering early?
Yes. Early registration before Aug 1 provides a $1,000 discount.
Should I wait to register?
Enrollment is limited and completed on a first-come, first-served basis.
Is there a deposit required?
A $1,500 refundable deposit secures your seat and is applied toward tuition.
Are payment plans available?
Yes. Interest-free monthly payment options are available and documented in the Enrollment Agreement.
What’s included in the cost?
Tuition includes the complete 300+ hour curriculum, course materials, participatory activities, and designated participant resources.
What expenses are not included?
Travel, lodging, transportation, personal expenses, and meals outside provided course hospitality.


Travel & Logistics

What hotels are recommended?
Home2 Suites Seattle Airport/Tukwila and TownePlace Suites Seattle Southcenter are currently recommended.
Transportation from the airport?
Uber, Lyft, taxis, rental cars, and public transit are available from Seattle-Tacoma International Airport.
Transportation from the hotel to the training facility?
The recommended hotels are generally within a short drive of the primary training facility.
What happens if I miss a module?
Contact the Program Coordinator as early as possible. Approved assignments, learning materials, recorded content, or future make-up attendance may be used when appropriate.
What does a typical module week/weekend look like?
Participants are encouraged to arrive Thursday evening and be ready for instruction Friday morning.

Most in-person modules are held Friday through Sunday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with a one-hour lunch and two scheduled breaks. Lectures and clinical concepts are commonly paired with participatory or hands-on activities. Detailed agendas and preparation requirements are provided before each module.

Participants are expected to remain for the full instructional schedule to receive credit for documented course hours.

Registration Information

Disclaimer: A self instruction online aspect is included in the program. Participants will need loupes, laptops and note-taking materials.

Registration Fee: Fee includes tuition, registration, handouts, materials, breakfast, coffee, lunch for most full-day courses, and other amenities involved in making this a pleasant learning experience.

Notes: The registered participant grant permission to Seattle MaxiCourse (and its designees and agents) to utilize the participant’s image, likeness, actions and/or statements in recorded audio, video, or photographic display for exhibition, publication, or reproduction made of, about, or at an activity without further authorization or compensation.

Dental educational institutions have an obligation to disseminate new knowledge related to dental practice. In so doing some presentations may include controversial material or commercial references. Sponsorship of continuing dental education courses by sponsor does not endorse a particular philosophy, procedure, or product by the sponsor. Sponsor reserves the right to modify the course content, faculty and meeting location; and also reserves the right to cancel a program, if necessary.

Any cancellation made less than two months prior to the start date will result in non-refundable tuition. Any cancellation made before two months of the start date will be refunded including a $1,500 registration service charge.
