Dr. Chad G. Slocum graduated from the University of Washington School of Dentistry in 1998. He then continued his education and completed a one-year General Practice Residency program at the University of Washington Medical Center in 1999. It was here that he received advanced training in oral surgery, sedation and complex restorative dentistry.
Dr. Slocum is a surgical instructor for the California Implant Institute at the facility in Baja Mexico. He maintains his private practice in Mill Creek, Washington with an emphasis on implant surgery, bone grafting, third molar surgery, and complex restorative and prosthetic reconstruction. Dr. Slocum enjoys getting to know his patients, and helping them discover the many gifts modern dentistry has to offer.
Dr. Slocum is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral Implantology/Implant Dentistry, a Fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, and a Fellow of the California Implant Institute. His unique expertise allows him to provide a multi-disciplinary approach to patient care while completing the entire process in-house, from replacing a single tooth or utilizing dental implants to restore the entire smile of patients missing all their teeth.
Outside of dentistry Dr. Slocum loves working with and spending time with his wife, Sara. He also enjoys fly fishing, skiing, hiking, gardening, guitar and travel as well as time with his two grown boys and dog, Kona.

- Associate Fellow (AFAAID): Completion of this course fulfills the 300-hour educational requirement to sit for the AAID Associate Fellow examination.

Disclaimer: A self instruction online aspect is included in the program. Participants will need loupes, laptops and note-taking materials.
