Do I need previous implant experience before enrolling?
No previous implant placement experience is required. The Seattle MaxiCourse supports dentists new to implants as well as clinicians already placing implants who want to expand their skills.
What makes the Seattle MaxiCourse different from shorter implant courses?
The Seattle MaxiCourse is a comprehensive year-long program with eight modules and 300 hours of education, offering deeper clinical understanding, mentorship, hands-on training, and a pathway toward AAID credentialing.

Yes. The program follows the educational model of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry and fulfills the 300-hour requirement to sit for the AAID Associate Fellow examination.

How is the Seattle MaxiCourse structured throughout the year?
The program consists of eight modules delivered between September and May, typically over three-day weekends (Friday–Sunday).
How many modules are included in the program?
Eight modules progressively build surgical, restorative, and treatment planning skills.
How much hands-on training is included?
Participants complete laboratory surgical exercises, cadaver sessions, digital planning exercises, restorative workflows, and live surgical demonstrations.
Will students place implants on live patients?
Students train through laboratory surgical exercises, cadaver sessions, and live surgical demonstrations performed by faculty.
Where will the modules be held?
Most modules are held at the 3DBioCAD training facility at 5866 S 194th St, Kent, WA.
Where will the cadaver modules be held?
Cadaver sessions will be hosted at a dedicated surgical training facility (location announced prior to the module).
What implant system will be used?
The course incorporates implant systems through our partnership with MegaGen, a program sponsor and global implant manufacturer.

How will this course impact my practice?
A comprehensive course not only equips participants to successfully integrate implant dentistry into their practice, but also empowers clinicians to improve the lives of patients facing complications associated with implant dentistry.
How quickly can the course pay for itself?
With implants starting around $3,400 and full-arch treatments around $20,000, many dentists recover the cost of the course relatively quickly after implementing implant services.

Are payment plans available?
Yes. Interest-free plans include a $1,500 deposit followed by eight equal monthly payments.

Make-up attendance may be possible in a future cohort depending on availability.
What does a typical module week/weekend look like?
Participants are encouraged to arrive Thursday evening, allowing time to check in to their hotel and be ready for the first day of instruction.

Each module typically follows this schedule:

  • Friday - Sunday: 8 AM - 5 PM instructional sessions
  • 1-hour lunch break
  • Two 10-minute breaks during the day
Morning sessions typically focus on lectures and clinical concepts, while hands-on training sessions are generally scheduled in the afternoon. Detailed agendas for each module are provided prior to the session.
