Dr. Mounir Iskandar

Dr. Mounir Iskandar, DDS, MSD is an accomplished prosthodontist, implantologist, educator, and innovator in the field of digital implant dentistry. Based in Irving, Texas, he serves as the lead dentist at Radiance Dentistry Dental Implant Center, where his clinical focus includes restorative, cosmetic, and implant rehabilitation with an emphasis on advanced surgical prosthodontic care.
With extensive involvement in education and technology development, Dr. Iskandar is a speaker in the Linhart Continuing Dental Education Program at New York University College of Dentistry. He is also President and Head of Research at XircOn™ Dental Designers Lab, a full-arch, fully digital workflow laboratory, and Head Professor at the Texas Institute of Oral Implantology.
Dr. Iskandar has served as a consultant and Key Opinion Leader for several prominent organizations in implant dentistry and digital technology, including X-Nav Technologies, Datum Dental (Ossix), MIS Dental Implant Technology, Dentsply, Noris Medical Dental Implants, and MicronMapper Photogrammetry.
His research and development work has focused on implant planning software, dynamic surgical navigation, advanced bone grafting technologies, and the refinement of protocols for complex implant procedures, including fully navigated pterygoid and zygomatic implants. He holds several patents for prosthetic components related to implant-supported restorations and is recognized for his role in advancing shock-absorption technology in All-on-X restorations, as well as for inventing CBCTgrammatory technology for All-on-4 restorations.
Dr. Iskandar received his BDS from Cairo University School of Dentistry in 1998. Following his oral surgery residency, he practiced as an oral surgeon in Egypt from 2000 to 2004. He later earned his specialty in Maxillofacial Prosthodontics and his MSD from Indiana University School of Dentistry at IUPUI in 2008.
